High fashion custom
design house is looking for two talented, motivated, and self
driven patternmakers who also have experience in sewing. We are
seeking seasoned pattern makers to join our design team, which
focuses on women's denim jeans and dresses. This is a multi
tasking position in that pattern makers will be the caretakers
of custom garments from creating the pattern to actually sewing
and constructing the finished product. The candidates should
have experience working with better garments as well as
collection oriented products and be able to work in fast paced
environment with consistent deadlines. Will be working with a
young, fun, and extremely aggressive team driven by bottom line
results.
Responsibilities include:
• Record detailed measurements of key measure points on
clients silhouette
• Create patterns for season collections, follow through
from drape and pattern to finished sample
• Participate in fit sessions with design team
• Sew garments from scratch starting from cut out patterns
to end result product
• Must have experience working with high quality fabrics,
trims, notions, etc.
